Congratulations to Tim Barmettler and the Highland High School Hawks who went on to win the Arizona High School Boys 5A-I State Soccer Championship on Saturday February 14th, 2009. The lone goal of the game was scored in the 15th minute of play by Alan Puga over rival team Mesa Red Mountain. Brent Dirvonas (d) who played a long ball over the top to Puga got the assist and played a solid defensive game.
